Documents that are from Guernsey can only be legalised with an apostille certificate that has been issued in Guernsey. Due to this they can not be legalised with a UK issued apostille certificate.
We can accept all official government registrar certificates from Guernsey. In addition, non-government registrar signed documents that originate from Guernsey signed by a notary public or solicitor who is based in Guernsey will be accepted for a Guernsey apostille. Once legalised with the Guernsey apostille the document can then be used outside of Guernsey as a legal and valid document in any other Hague Convention country. Our professional apostille service will make sure that your Guernsey issued document is officially legalised for your ongoing international use.
Please be aware that we do not offer a service whereby we arrange for your document to be signed by a Guernsey registered notary public or solicitor. Where applicable, the document must be signed by the Guernsey based notary public or solicitor and then sent to us before we can proceed.
Our Guernsey apostille service has a completion time frame of approximately 4-5 working days. Please contact us for the latest fees. We also offer full embassy attestation for Guernsey documents.
To proceed with a Guernsey apostille order please arrange for your document to be posted to us with a covering letter providing us with your name, return delivery address and contact telephone number. We accept payment by cheque or postal order made payable to ‘The Apostille Service’. Alternatively you can add a note for us to ‘phone for payment’ by debit or credit card.
If further advice is required please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance with your document legalisation order.
The Guernsey apostille service takes approximately one week to complete. We do not provide a next day service for Guernsey documents.
